The American Journal of Biological Anthropology is seeking new Associate Editors (AEs). AEs are primarily responsible for finding reviewers and seeing manuscripts through the review process, including making initial recommendations on manuscripts. We are seeking applicants in all subfields of biological anthropology (the following expertise is also needed: bioarchaeology/isotopes and primatology/strepsirrhines, great apes, primate cognition, or physiology).
We are also seeking Early Career AEs in the early stage of their career, such as assistant professors, non-tenure-track appointees, or experienced postdoctoral fellows.
The closing date for applications is October 31, 2026. If interested, please send a CV and statement of interest to Connie Mulligan, Editor-in-Chief, AJBA, at cmulligan@ufl.edu.
