UNC Greensboro invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Principal Lecturer to begin August 2026 with the possibility of a contract extension after the first year. The Biology Department at UNCG designs and delivers experiential, inquiry-based learning activities and courses in undergraduate research (CUREs) to serve a highly diverse student population majoring in Biology and related disciplines. CUREs have been scaffolded throughout our curriculum from introductory to advanced courses. We seek an individual with a graduate degree, Ph.D. preferred in Biology or a related field and the ability to also teach Human Anatomy and Human Anatomy Lab, Introductory Biology and other courses in disciplinary specializations which may include Physiology, Microbiology, Evolutionary Biology, Ecology, Developmental Biology, Human Biology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, advanced anatomy. The successful candidate will be assigned mentor(s) and may participate in departmental committees and outreach as part of professional development. The teaching load will be four courses per semester.
