Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to host a Wenner-Gren-funded workshop, "Animating ancient trade routes through primate lifeways," at the Institute for Advanced Study (Zukunftskolleg) in Konstanz, Germany (June 12-14, 2023). Our goal is to assemble primatologists, biogeographers, and archaeologists with the intent of fostering scholarly exchange, future collaborations, and new research programs focused on the trade, cultural meanings, and life histories of primates in antiquity.

Organizers: Gisela Kopp, University of Konstanz Nathaniel Dominy, Dartmouth College

More information available at: www.zukunftskolleg.de/workshop-primates

Registration by April 30th

There are bursaries available of up to €800 to cover the registration, travel and accommodation costs of early career researchers from underrepresented regions.

We would be very happy to welcome you to our workshop and would appreciate if you can distribute the information to your colleagues and research networks.

Kind regards, Gisela Kopp & Nate Dominy
