AACT Panel – AAPA 2016

The Committee of Diversity (COD), Anthropologists outside of Anthropology Departments, Contingent and Teaching focused faculty (AACT) task force broadly aims to foster effective teaching practices, with focus on the special challenges inherent to being anthropologists in non-anthropology departments and/or contingent faculty.

Please join us for our COD-AACT panel at AAPA 2016, where our five panelists will discuss their experiences and answer questions regarding their varied positions in biological anthropology. Topics include juggling high teaching loads, enjoying work as an adjunct, teaching outside anthropology departments, and marketing yourself in a diverse job market.
Panel Time and Location: Friday April 15, 2-4pm Room A602 (Note that the panel is open to all AAPA registrants; there is no special registration needed for the panel.)
