The IDEAS 2024 Southeast Regional Workshop will be held in Nashville, TN in mid-October, 2024.

The IDEAS Program's workshops provide a team, a space, and a suite of activities to engage issues of scholarship, professional preparation, and community building. The one-and-a-half-day-long Regional Workshop includes scientific presentations, mentoring opportunities with IDEAS Faculty, and an introduction to tools, resources, and practices to help meet the challenges and opportunities faced by underrepresented scholars in biological anthropology and allied disciplines (i.e., biology, sociology, anatomy, etc.).

The IDEAS Program will help cover the cost of travel and lodging expenses, as needed.

Many thanks to the National Science Foundation, Biological Anthropology Program, for funding the IDEAS Program!
